Plan the work. Work the plan.
Every great Web site begins with a great plan. During the planning stage of the
Web site development project, we:
Meet with your project development team |
Ask a lot of questions |
Study your company's current marketing materials - or develop them if needed |
Analyze the competition |
Develop a comprehensive online strategy |
Create a written site directory tree |
Form an estimated project timeline |
After all the analyzing and strategizing is completed, the written site directory tree acts as a "roadmap" for the site's navigation, content and functionality. It determines what each main heading or navigation button will be called, exactly what information will reside in each section of the site, what areas of functionality will be implemented first and what might be phased in at a later date, etc.
Once the site directory tree is fine tuned, reviewed by all necessary parties, signed and approved, we then begin the
design phase.
